Objective
To establish assessment criteria and evaluate the leadership readiness of 1,100 applicants.
Key Challenge
Support the Ministry’s team in making informed decisions and providing targeted recommendations for each leadership candidate participating in the fast-track leadership development journey.
Consulting Approach
To identify and prepare the most suitable leadership candidates, Tharwah implemented an integrated approach beginning with Hogan Assessments to evaluate personality traits, leadership potential, and derailment risks. This was followed by structured Competency-Based Interviews (CBI) that assessed both behavioral and technical competencies aligned with the organization’s leadership framework.
Tailored case study simulations were developed to assess decision-making, problem-solving, and strategic thinking within realistic scenarios. To further validate readiness, a job shadowing program was introduced, allowing candidates to engage with senior leaders and gain hands-on exposure to real work environments. This comprehensive, data-driven approach ensured a practical and context-specific evaluation of future leadership potential.
Outcome
Tharwah supported the Ministry’s HR team by delivering an interactive analytical dashboard and guiding them through the selection process, offering data-backed recommendations for identifying the most suitable leadership candidates.
Insights & Learnings
The engagement reinforced the importance of maintaining alignment with client expectations and establishing high-performance standards across all project components.
Client Impact
The project outcomes were successfully approved, and the Ministry expressed strong interest in continuing the partnership through future engagements with Tharwah.
